The Misericordia University Rocket League Gold team defeated Elon University, 4-1, Wednesday.
 
Cameron Purrington recorded a hat trick, including the game-winner in overtime, to win game one, 4-3.
 
Antonio Cordaro and Tristan Cuellar led the Cougars to a 7-0 win in game two and the Cougars took game three, 5-2.
 
After Elon won game four, 2-1, in overtime, Purrington scored another OT game-winner as MU won game five, 2-1.
 
Purrington led the Cougars with 11 goals, four assists and three saves.
 
Cordaro had five goals, seven assists and six saves while Cuellar added three goals, four assists and two saves.
 
The Cougars will face Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Seton Hill University, Wednesday.
