The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team improved to 2-0 with a 13-10 win over Marywood, Saturday afternoon on Mangelsdorf Field.

Adison Harner and
Ashtyn Torbert had three goals and an assist for MU and
Kristen Travaglini had two goals and three assists.

Delaney Campanella and
Riley Fischer scored two goals each.
Â
Campanella had six ground balls and Torbert had four draw controls while
Alicia Pileggi added four draw controls and three caused turnovers.

Ryann Gross made 17 saves in goal.
Â
Misericordia jumped out to a 4-0 lead and never trailed. The Cougars scored four straight goals to take a 13-4 lead with 11:03 to play and withstood a 6-0 run by the Pacers over the final 10:03.

Gross made two stops on free-position shots in the opening minutes before Torbert put the Cougars ahead with a free-position goal with 9:26 play in the first period.

Harner followed with a free-position goal two minutes later and Fischer and
Jenna Romito both scored with assists from Travaglini.

Campanella bookended a 4-0 run over an eight-minute span over the second and third quarters to put the Cougars up, 9-2.

The Cougars scored four straight man-up goals to take a 13-4 lead with 11:03 to play.
