The Misericordia University men's basketball team will travel to Stevens for the MAC Freedom championship game, Saturday, February 28 at 5:00 p.m.
 
The fourth-seeded Cougars advanced to the title game on Eli Stoute's thrilling last-second, half-court shot in a 58-57 win over Arcadia.
 
Stevens, the second seed, beat DeSales, 81-60, in the semifinals.
 
MU and Stevens split a pair of regular season meetings with each team winning at home.
 
Misericordia won 72-49 in the MAC Freedom opener in January while Stevens held off an MU rally to win 88-81 earlier this month.
 
Stevens leads the league in scoring offense with 78.2 points per game while Misericordia is second in scoring defense at 70.0 points per game.
 
Matt Prociak leads the Cougars with 15.5 points per game and is second with 7.3 rebounds per game.
 
Jack Gallagher is second in scoring with 12.8 points per game and leads the league with 8.1 rebounds per game.
 
Darryl Wright leads the MAC Freedom in assist/turnover ratio at 2.6 and is fifth in assists with 4.5 per game.
 
Gallagher is tied for the league lead with 1.0 block per game and Wright is tied for the lead with 1.9 steals per game.
 
Tommy Scholl leads Stevens and is second in the league in scoring with 18.1 ppg.  Scholl is sixth in the league with 6.5 rpg while Harmehar Chhabra is sixth with 6.3 rpg.
 
Chhabra is second in the league with 4.8 assists per game and fourth in field-goal percentage at 53.8.
