The Misericordia University Rocket League teams opened their spring seasons, Wednesday.
 
The MU Blue team lost to Worcester Polytechnic Institute, 4-0, including an overtime loss in game three.
 
Kareem Jefferson and Connor Laubach scored for the Cougars while Gavin Henderson recorded several saves over the match.
 
The MU Gold team dropped a 4-3 decision to Transylvania University.
 
Antonio Cordaro and Cameron Purrington were MU's leading scorers while Tristan Cuellar had 10 saves.
 
The highlight of the match was Cordaro's goal as Purrington cleared the way with a massive body check against the Transylvania goalie.
