The Misericordia University men's volleyball dropped a tri-match to Kean and #7 NYU, Saturday in New York City.
The Cougars lost both matches by identical 3-1 scores.
MU opening set from NYU, but the Violets rallied to win three straight.
After Kean took the opener in the nightcap, 25-22, Misericordia won the second set, 25-23. Kean took the next two sets to clinch the win.
Christopher U'Glay led the Cougars in the opener with 15 kills and two aces while
Jackson Fehnel had 11 kills and three blocks.
Benjamin Clendening added blocks and Andrew Schmidt had 23 assists.
Fehnel had 13 kills against Kean and U'Glay had seven kills and three aces.
Tyler Knoop had five blocks and Clendening had four.
Schmidt had 20 assists and eight digs.
