The Misericordia University Rocket League Gold team defeated Mitchell College, 4-1, in a game with playoff implications, Wednesday, March 11.
 
The Cougars improved to 4-2 heading into next week's regular season finale.
 
Cameron Purrington scored twice to lead the Cougars to a 3-1 win in the opener and Tristen Cuellar had a hat trick as the Cougars took game two, 9-3.
 
MU won game three, 4-3, but Mitchell stayed alive with a 2-0 win in game four.
 
Antonio Cordaro had a hat trick as the Cougars finished off the night with a 4-1 win in game five.
 
Cuellar had four goals, four assists and two saves while Cordaro had six goals seven assists and five saves while Purrington had 10 goals, five assists and four saves.
 
 
 
The Blue team fell to Hendrix, 4-0, including a pair of overtime contests. Connor Laubach scored MU's lone goal in a 4-1 loss in the opener and the Cougars dropped game two, 2-0.
 
Kareem Jefferson scored in game three and Gavin Henderson scored in game four, but the Cougars lost both games by identical 2-1 scores in OT.
 
Jefferson had a goal, an assist and seven saves and Henderson added a goal, an assist and five saves.
