The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team rallied for a 12-11 win at Alvernia, Saturday afternoon.

Ashtyn Torbert led the Cougars with four goals and
Delaney Campanella added three goals and an assist.

Riley Fischer had two goals and an assist and
Alicia Pileggi had four draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Ryann Gross made eight saves in goal.

Down 8-3 midway through the second quarter, the Cougars scored four straight goals in a five-minute span to get within 8-7 at halftime.

Campanella and Torbert both scored two-man up goals in the stretch to get the Cougars within a goal.

The Cougars scored three goals in the third period to take their first lead since early in the first quarter.Â
Reagan Harner scored a man-up goal early in the third and Fischer and Torbert scored two minutes apart to give MU a 10-9 lead with 3:57 left in the third quarter.

Alvernia tied it early in the fourth and Campanella answered with man-up goal to put MU ahead, 11-10, with 9:34 to play.

Adison Harner added a man-up goal with an assist from Campanella with 5:53 to play.
