The Misericordia University volleyball team won its fifth straight game with a 3-1 non-conference victory over Lancaster Bible, Thursday night on Doc Mould Court.
Jackson Fehnel led the Cougars with 13 kills and
Christopher U'Glay had 12 kills.
Benjamin Clendening had six blocks and
Joe Kozak added four.
Evan Schmidt had 19 digs and seven digs and
Andrew George had 16 assists and three aces.
MU won 25-20, 25-15, 22-25, 25-14.
Down 12-11 in the opener, Fehnel had a kill and an ace to key a 4-0 run to give MU a 15-12 lead.
Misericordia used a 6-1 spurt to take a 22-15 lead and Fehnel eventually closed the set with a kill.
Fehnel had a pair of kills as part of a 7-1 run to give the Cougars a 16-7 lead in the second set. He had two more kills to help stretch the lead to 21-9.
MU's last three points came on LBC service errors.
The Chargers closed the third set on a 6-3 run to stay alive with a 25-22 win.
U'Glay had two kills and three Lancaster Bible errors helped the Cougars take a 5-0 lead in the fourth set.
Isaac Griffin had two kills combined with two Charger's error to extend MU's lead to 9-1.
Lancaster Bible got within 9-6, but the Cougars scored six of the next seven points, including back-to-back kills by Kozak to make it 14-7.
George had a pair of aces as the Cougars closed out the set on a 5-0 run.
