Volleyball Sweeps on Senior Day, Clinches Postseason Berth

The Misericordia University men's volleyball team celebrated Senior Appreciation Day with a sweep of a tri-match over Hood and Cairn, Saturday on Doc Mould Court.
 
The Cougars won both matches, 3-0, to extend their win streak to  eight while clinching a MAC postseason berth.
 
Andrew George led the Cougars with five kills and two aces in the opener while Joe Kozak and Isaac Drake had five aces each.
 
Logan Romeika had three kills and three aces.
 
Jackson Fehnel had seven kills against Cairn and Christopher U'Glay had five kills and five aces.
 
George had 16 assists and four aces and Kozak had three blocks.
 
The Cougars never trailed against Hood while winning, 25-13, 25-17, 25-15. 
 
MU beat Cairn, 25-13, 25-15, 25-18.
