The Misericordia University men's golf team opened the spring season at the DeSales Spring Classic, Friday at Olde Homestead Golf Course.
 
The Cougars are seventh of eight teams after day one with a 349.
 
Brian Hough shot 82 for MU and is tied for 18^th in the 44-player field.

The tournament concludes Saturday.
