Box Score The Misericordia University women's tennis team opened the spring season with a 6-1 win over Arcadia, Sunday.
 
Teresa Thomas, Samantha Wallitsch, Emily Holtzapple, Carissa Stefanski and Morgan Slusser were all double-winners for the Cougars.
 
Thomas won 6-3, 7-6 (9-7) at second singles and teamed with Holtzapple for a 6-0 win at number-two doubles.
 
Wallitsch won 6-0, 6-4 at third singles and won 6-4 at first doubles with Erin Cridge.
 
Slusser won 6-0, 6-1 at fourth singles and joined Stefanski for a 6-0 win at third doubles.
 
Holtzapple won 6-3, 6-3 at fifth singles and Stefanski won 6-1, 6-1 at number six.
