Riley Fischer scored four goals and five players had three goals each as the Misericordia University women's lacrosse team cruised to a 23-6 win over King's, Tuesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

Kristen Travaglini all had three goals and two assists and
Delaney Campanella had three goals and an assist.

Jenna Jacques had a goal and two assists and
Jenna Romito scored twice while
Lindsey Van Orden had a goal.

Ryann Gross made three saves in goal.

Pileggi had a team-high eight draw controls and Jacques had five ground balls.

Campanella bounced a shot inside the left post less two minutes into the game and Pileggi scored inside the left post to make it 2-0 with 11:36 to go in the first quarter.

After a King's goal, MU five straight goals to take a 6-1 lead after one period.

Travaglini found Fischer from behind the net with 9:19 to play in the first quarter and hit Romito from the same spot with 6:50 to go.

Pileggi fired a low shot inside the left post and Travaglini weaved through two defenders and squeezed a shot inside the left post to give MU a 6-1 lead.

King's got within 8-4 midway through the second quarter, but MU scored six straight goals over the final 4:48 of the first half to take a 14-4 lead at halftime.

The Cougars scored six goals to start the third period to extend the lead to 20-4.
