Nick Woolley has been named the head men's volleyball coach at Misericordia University, Chuck Edkins, executive director of athletics, has announced.
Woolley is the second head coach in program history and replaces Rob Wingert, who resigned last month.
Woolley spent the last two season's as the graduate assistant coach and developmental head coach at MU.

Nick Woolley to Misericordia University as the next head coach of our men's volleyball program," said Edkins. "His experience and passion for coaching and developing student-athletes will be a tremendous asset to our program."
In his two seasons as a graduate assistant, Woolley helped the Cougars to 41-25 record and a pair of postseason appearances.Â
"I am beyond excited to be named the next head coach at Misericordia University," said Woolley. "After two incredible years here, I am eager to continue building this program and working alongside the outstanding staff across the university. The opportunity to learn from exceptional coaches such as Rob Wingert, Will Dowdy and Tracey Marshall has prepared me to step confidently into this role. I look forward to leading this team as we strive to bring a MAC Championship to Dallas, Pennsylvania"
Woolley graduated from Trine University in 2024 with a degree in sports communications.
A Plainfield, Illinois native, Woolley was a member of the Thunder men's volleyball team for four years and set school records for assists in a season (974), assists per set (9.98), assists in a four-set match (58) and a five-set match (54).
He was named to the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League All-Tournament Team after winning the program's first conference title in 2024.Â
