Jenna Schuda and Jacob Hunter have been named the 2025-2026 Misericordia University Wendy's Athletes of the Year.
 
Schuda is a senior setter on the volleyball team and led the Cougars to a 22-10 record and their second straight trip to the MAC Freedom championship game.
 
She was named first-team All-MAC Freedom for the fourth consecutive year and earned her second Player of the Year award.
 
In addition, she was named first team AVCA all-region and was honorable mention All-America.
 
She led the MAC Freedom 8.33 assists per set and was second with .63 aces per set.
 
She is Misericordia's all-time leader with 3,763 assists.

Hunter is a junior the football and track & field teams.  He was a second-team All-MAC selection at quarterback.
 
He led the league with 277 yards of total offense per game.  He ranked third in passing and eighth in rushing and led the Cougars to second place in the regular season and a MAC-Centennial bowl game.
 
During the indoor track season, he was third in the MAC at 400m and sixth at 200 and was part of the winning 4x400 relay.
 
Outdoors, he was the MAC Track Athlete of the Year after winning at 200m and 400m and anchored winning relays in the 4x100 and 4x400.
 
He is currently ranked 16^th in the nation at 400m.
