Former Misericordia University baseball standouts Matt Lanzendorfer and Connor Maryniak are enjoying successful seasons in professional baseball.

Lanzendorfer is pitching the Great Lakes Loons, the high-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is 3-0  with two saves and 48 strikeouts in 36.2 innings pitched. He has a 1.25 WHIP and a .176 opponent's batting average.

Maryniak is playing for the New Jersey Jackals and was one of just two rookies to make the Frontier League All-Star team.Â

Maryniak is 3-0 with two saves and a 2.51 ERA. He has 37 strikeouts and just six walks allowed in 32.1 innings.

As an infielder, he is hitting .224 with six homers and 26 RBI.
