The Misericordia University men's soccer team welcomed members of the 1996 team as part of Homecoming/Reunion Weekend in celebration of the 30^th anniversary of the Cougars Pennsylvania Athletic Conference championship.

Under PAC Coach of the Year Chuck Edkins, the Cougars 11-5-3 while winning the first conference title in program history.

The Cougars beat Cabrini in the semifinals, 1-0, in overtime on a goal by Michael Blasi from Stephan Pill. 

Misericordia went on to beat Allentown (DeSales), 2-0 in the championship match.  Defensive MVP Matt Shoener gave the Cougars the lead and Offensive MVP Pill added an insurance goal.

Pill, Paul Zaengle and Jeremy Fleeger were named first-team All-PAC.
