MU Women Fall at Scranton

The Misericordia University women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision at Scranton, Wednesday night.
 
Caelan Gallagher scored an unassisted goal for the Cougars.
 
The Royals took a quick 2-0 lead with a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes.
 
MU cut the margin in half on Gallagher's goal in the 39th minute and the Cougars trailed 2-1 at halftime.
 
The Cougars turned up the pressure in the second half as they out-shot the Royals 13-5 over the final 45 minutes.
 
Scranton added an insurance goal in the 68th minute.
 
MU had a 20-11 advantage in shots, including a 9-7 edge in shots on goal.
