Biography

2009: Honored as an NSCAA Academic All-American... Also a Mid-Atlantic All-Region selection... Was the 2009 MAC soccer Scholar-Athlete... Selected as First-Team All-Freedom Conference… Also chosen as the MVP of the Freedom Conference championships… Recognized with the Team Coach’s Award… Started 19 games in goal, with an 11-5-3 record, 6 shutouts, 70 saves, a sterling 0.97 GAA and a 78.7% save percentage… Made 7 saves in a 1-1 draw with Scranton (9/23)… Shut out nationally-ranked John Carroll 1-0 and was then named the Freedom Conference and ECAC Defensive Player of the Week… Had three consecutive shutouts against conference opponents FDU-Florham (10/10), Wilkes (10/13) and Delaware Valley (10/17)… Made seven saves in a shutout of Eastern that clinched a Freedom playoff spot for the Cougars (10/28)… Made 11 saves, including a string of outstanding stops, as MU shut out Manhattanville in the Freedom championship game.

2008:
Selected as second-team All-Freedom and second-team All-Region… MVP of the Freedom Championships… Played and started in all 21 games for MU… 14-4-3 record with a 1.03 GAA and an 80.9% save percentage… Kept 5 shutouts and was substituted late in four other Cougar shutout victories… Shutout Arcadia in the season opener (8/30)… Made a career-high 14 saves in a loss at Dickinson (9/6)… Kept three shutouts in a four-game span in victories over Susquehanna (9/16), Baptist Bible (9/22), and Scranton (9/24)… Made 10 saves against Eastern (11/1)… Shutout Eastern for 110 minutes in the Freedom Conference semifinals against Eastern, eventually winning in a shootout (11/6)… Won another shootout in the Freedom championship against Wilkes, saving three penalties including one to stay alive and another to win the title for MU (11/8)… Made 4 saves in the NCAA tournament first-round matchup with SUNY-Cortland (11/15).

2007:
Played and started in all 20 games for the Cougars… Had a record of 13-6-1 with a 1.26 GAA, a save percentage of 79%, and 4 shutouts… Made a then-career high 10 saves against Wilkes (9/8)… Made 9 big stops in a 2-1 victory at Eastern (9/12)… Shutout Gwynedd-Mercy 1-0, making 7 saves (9/25)… Added 8 saves in a shutout victory over Cabrini (10/10)… A 3-1 win over Immaculata gave him his 10th victory on the season… Shut out Marywood 4-0 (10/15)… Made a one-goal lead stand up in a shutout of Keystone (10/24)… Was the winning keeper in a PAC semifinal victory over Alvernia (11/1)… Made 7 saves in a tough ECAC playoff loss to Penn State Altoona (11/7).

2006:
Played and started in goal for all 17 games as a freshman… Finished with a 1.72 GAA, a save percentage of 70.2%, a 6-10 record, and 4 shutouts… Made his first collegiate start at Wilkes (9/1)… Made a season-high 9 saves in a loss to Johns Hopkins (9/9)… Recorded a shutout and his first career win as MU blanked Scranton 1-0 (9/13)… Shut-out Baptist Bible 2-0 (9/19)… Recorded back-to-back shutouts over Neumann (10/7) and Gwynedd-Mercy (10/10)… Saved 8 shots in the PAC playoffs at Wesley (10/31).
