Biography
2013-2014: Missed the majority of the 2013-2014 season due to an injury. Prior to her injury, Smicherko was averaging 12.8 points per game and 2.4 assists per game. She started eight games for MU and will return for a second chance at her senior season.
2012-13: Played and started in 24 games... Earned All-Freedom Honorable Mention honors after averaging 13.6 points and 5.9 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game... Led the Freedom in free throw percentage (.865)... Team leader in scoring and second in rebounding, assists (2.4) and steals (1.7)... Reached double figures in 16 of 24 contests... Scored 23 points and grabbed eight boards in the Freedom opener against Wilkes... Posted her first career double-double with 18 points and a career-high 12 rebounds at Delaware Valley... Poured in a career-high 27 points on 12-16 shooting in the season-finale against Manhattanville.
2011-12: Appeared in 25 contests off the bench, averaging 2.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in 15.0 minutes per game... Scored a season-high nine points in the Cougars’ Freedom Championship victory over King’s.
2010-11: Played in 16 games… Averaged 1.6 points and 0.9 rebounds in 8.6 minutes per game… Had 6 rebounds at Penn College (1/5)… Scored 10 points on 3-of-5 shooting and added 2 steals in a win over PSU-Wilkes Barre (1/17).
High School: Four varsity letters in basketball and soccer... Conference Player of the Year... 1000 career points.
