2023-24 Men's Basketball 
The Cougars finished 13-13 overall and qualified for the MAC Freedom championships. 

A junior forward, Kevin Lazdowsky was named first-team All-MAC Freedom and Player of the Year while Nate Kreitzer earned second-team honors. 

Lazdowsky led the league in scoring with 19.6 points per game and went over the 1,000 career point mark. 

Kreitzer, a senior point guard, was second on the team with 11.0 points per game and broke the school record for career assists with 384. 

Lazdowsky was also named to the NABC All-District 4 team and D3hoops.com All-Region 4 first-team. 

2022-23 Men's Basketball 
The Cougars ended their season with a 13-13 overall record and reached the MAC Freedom semifinals. 

Kevin Lazdowsky was named first team All-MAC Freedom while Joseph Baldachino earned honorable mention. 

Lazdowsky was second in the league in scoring with 17.4 points per game and tied for sixth with 6.6 rebounds per game. 

Baldachino was second on the team in scoring (12.3 ppg) and free throw percentage (81.0). 

2021-22 Men's Basketball 
The Cougars finished 10-17 and qualified for the MAC Freedom championships. 

A first year guard, Kevin Lazdowsky earned All-MAC Freedom honorable mention status. 

Lazdowsky's three-point percentage was the second-highest single-season total in school history. He also led the league in three-point percentage. 

2020-21 Men's Basketball
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

2019-20 Men's Basketball 
The Cougars finished 8-17. 

Senior forward, Noah Rivera, was named second-team All-MAC Freedom while Nate Kreitzer was named Rookie of the Year. 

Rivera averaged a double-double with team-highs in scoring (12.5 ppg) and rebounding (10.3 rpg). 

Rivera set the school single-season records for rebounds (257) and rebounds per game (10.3 rpg). 

A first year guard, Kreitzer was second on the team in scoring with 10.9 points per game and had a team-high 3.1 assists per game. 

2018-19 Men's Basketball 
The Cougars ended their season with a 14-12 overall record and earned a bid to the 2019 ECAC Championships. 

Jason Kenny was named co-Player of the Year and earned first-team status. Tony Harding was named All-MAC Freedom honorable mention. 

Kenny was also named D3hoops.com All-Atlantic Region first-team, NABC All-District first-team, MAC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year and to the Google Cloud Academic All-District team. 

A senior guard, Kenny led the league in scoring with 21.0 points per game and joined head coach Will Chandler as just the second player in school history to reach 2,000 career points.

2017-18 Men's Basketball 
Misericordia ended the season with a record of 17-11. They captured the MAC Freedom title and ended their season in the first round of the NCAA DIII Tournament for the second year in a row. 

Junior guard, Jason Kenny, was named MAC Freedom Player of the Year and was named first-team All-MAC Freedom for the third straight year. Tony Harding and Tre Fields were both named second-team All-MAC Freedom. 

Kenny led the Cougars in scoring (19.9 ppg), assists (3.7), steals (1.8) and free throw percentage (80.6). 

Kenny was named to the D3hoops.com Men's All-Atlantic Region first-team and NABC Atlantic All-District team.

2016-17 Men's Basketball
The Cougars finished 20-8 and claimed the MAC Freedom title and an NCAA Tournament berth. 

Jason Kenny was named first-team All-MAC Freedom while Tony Harding was named second-team and was named Rookie of the Year. 

A sophomore guard, Kenny led the league with 21.0 points per game, 2.0 steals and an 82.5 free throw percentage. 

Harding, a first-year guard, led MU in scoring six times and was the team's top rebounder in eight games. 

Kenny was also named d3hoops.com All-Atlantic Region second-team.

2015-16 Men's Basketball 
The Cougars finished with a 15-11 record and qualified for the MAC Freedom championships. 

Jason Kenny was named MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year and was selected to the first team. Griffin Sponaugle was second-team and Erik Kerns earned honorable mention. 

Kenny led the team in scoring with 18.4 points per game and is second in three-pointers with 59. 

A junior guard, Sponaugle, had a team-high 70 three-pointers and led the MAC Freedom in three-point percentage (43.5%). 

Kerns led the league in assist/turnover ratio (2.6) and tied for the team lead with 3.2 assists per game. 

Kenny was also named the ECAC South Rookie of the Year. 

2014-15 Men's Basketball 
The Cougars finished 21-7 and captured their second Freedom title in four years. They ended their season in the first round of the NCAA DIII Championships. 
 
Senior point guard, Joe Busacca, was named the Freedom Conference Player of the Year. He was joined on the first-team by Steve Ware

Busacca was also named first-team NABC All-Region, second-team All-ECAC, DIIII News honorable mention All-America and MU's Wendy's Athlete of the Year. He led the Cougars in scoring, averaging 15.7 points per game while also adding a team-high 44 steals. 

Ware finished his senior season averaging 14.6 points per game while leading the team in 8.3 rebounds per game. He was second on the team with 42 blocks. 
Busacca was MVP of the Freedom Conference championships. 

Head Coach Trevor Woodruff was named Freedom Conference Coach of the Year.

2013-14 Men's Basketball
The Cougars finished 16-11 and qualified for the Freedom Conference championships for the fifth straight season.
 
Junior forward Steve Ware was named first-team All-Freedom and senior point guard Matt Greene was second-team All-Freedom.
 
Greene had the second-highest single-season free throw % in school history (87.5%) and went over 1,000 career points and finished second in school history with 270 three-pointers.

Greene is second in career three-point % (38.9) and became MU's all-time leader with 379 assists.
 
Ware had the third-highest single-season blocked shots total (31) and moved into fifth place in career blocks and moved into a tie for fourth in career rebounds per game (7.0).
 
The Cougars won the McCarthy Tire Laurel Line Tournament for the fifth straight year with Joe Busacca earning MVP honors.
 
Ware was the team MVP and Greene received the Coach's Award.

2012-13 Men's Basketball
The Cougars finished 13-13 and qualified for the Freedom Conference championships for the fourth straight season.
 
Junior point guard Matt Greene was named first-team All-Freedom and sophomore forward Steve Ware was second-team All-Freedom.
 
Justin Grotevant ended his career fourth in career field goal % (54.5%).
 
Greene had the sixth-highest single-season three-point total (70) in school history and moved into second in career 3-pt. % (39.3%) and third in career 3-pointers (186).
 
Freshman Jesse Urich had the ninth-best three-point % in school history (39.5%).
 
Ware had 203 rebounds, the 10th-highest single-season total in school history.
 
Greene's 117 assists were the 7th-most in school history and he moved into fifth all-time with 291.
 
The Cougars won the McCarthy Tire Laurel Line Tournament for the fourth straight year with Slanovec being named MVP.

2011-12 Men's Basketball
The Cougars enjoyed the best season in school history by claiming their first Freedom Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.

Misericordia set a school record for wins in a season at 21-7, including a school-record 12-game winning streak to end the regular season and the Freedom Tournament.

Senior Ethan Eichhorst was the Freedom Player of the Year and a first-team All-Freedom selection for the second straight season.

Junior Steve Artzerounian was second-team All-Freedom and Trevor Woodruff was named Coach of the Year.

Eichhorst's other honors included: d3hoops.com All-Region; NABC All-District; D-III News All-American; ECAC South All-Star and played in the Reese's D-III national All-Star game.

Eichhorst finished fourth all-time in scoring with 1,476 career points.

Jeff Slanovec ended his career with 1,007 points and in second place with 205 career three-pointers.

Artzerounian set a school single-season record with 62.6 field goal % and Eichhorst set a school record and finished 13th in the nation in free throw % (88.5).

Matt Greene led the Freedom in three-point field goals per game (2.32) and assists per game (3.9).

Misericordia was 21st in the nation in team 3-pt % (38.8).

The Cougars won the McCarthy Tire Laurel Line Tournament for the third straight year with Slanovec being named MVP.

MU had an 84-71 win at NCAA Elite 8 participant Scranton.

Eichhorst was the team MVP while Greene earned the Coach's Award.

Eichhorst and Slanovec were four-year letter winners while Chris Undersinger and student-assistant Cameron Harty were also seniors.

2010-11 Men's Basketball

The Cougars finished 15-12 and qualified for the Freedom Conference playoffs and reached the ECAC South Championships for the third time in four years.

Junior Ethan Eichhorst was a first-team All-Freedom selection. He scored 519 points, seventh-highest in school history, and his 19.2 ppg was eighth all-time in school history. His 194 field goals was fifth and his 56.6 FG% was tied for sixth.

Robbie Johnson was a second-team All-Freedom selection. He ended his career in 10th place in career scoring with 1,164 points. His 104 assists (8th) and 50 steals (T10th) are both top-10 single-season.

Johnson finished third in career games played (108), fifth in field goals (466), fourth in assists (315), ninth in blocks (29) and seventh in steals (129).

Junior Jeff Slanovec had 62 three-pointers, the ninth-most in school history and moved into fourth place in career three-pointers (156). His 37.2% three-point % is fourth.

The Cougars won the McCarthy Tire Laurel Line Tournament with Johnson being named MVP.

MU won the York Coach's vs. Cancer Classic with Eichhorst earning MVP honors.

Eichhorst was the team MVP; Johnson earned the Coach's Award.


2009-10 Men's Basketball

The Misericordia men's basketball team enjoyed a successful season as they reached the Freedom Conference Championship game and qualified for the ECAC playoffs.

MU, 16-12, won seven of their last eight Freedom contests to finish tied for second and clinch a post-season berth.

They won their playoff opener at Eastern, 80-65, and advanced to the Freedom title game for the first time.

Despite dropping a hard-fought 69-61 at DeSales in Freedom finals, the Cougars earned their second ECAC bid in three years.

In their ECAC opener, senior Dom Del Prete made two three-pointers in the final 11 seconds to force overtime, but the Cougars lost 79-73 in OT at eventual champion Penn State-Behrend.

Del Prete, a first-team All-Freedom selection led the team in scoring (17 ppg) and finished eighth all-time at Misericordia with 1,209 points.

He also ranks among Misericordia's top-10 in career games played, field goals, free throws, rebounds and steals.

Senior point guard Marcus Little ended his career tied for third in games played (106) and assists (328).

Senior forward Mark Williams enjoyed the best season of his injury-plagued career and recorded the fourth-highest field-goal percentage in school history (57.2).

Sophomore sharpshooter Jeff Slanovec made 73 three-pointers, the fourth most in school history.

The Cougars won the Laurel Line Tournament behind Del Prete's MVP performance. He was joined on the All-Tournament team by Williams.

Del Prete was the team MVP and Little received the Coach's Award.

2008-09 Men's Basketball

The Cougars finished 11-14 (5-11) in their first season in the Freedom Conference.

Vinny Baumunk and Dom DelPrete were named to the Laurel Line All-Tournament Team.

Baumunk finished his career with 1,455 points--fourth all time at Misericordia.

Baumunk is the school's all-time leader in blocked shots (113) and ranks third in field goals (570), fourth in rebounds (639), fifth in points per game (14.3), seventh in rebounds per game (7.3), seventh in free throws (228), eighth in field goal percentage (52.2) and eighth in three-pointers (90).

Andy Smith ended his career in sixth in three-point percentage (36.7).

The Cougars had wins over Landmark champion Scranton and split with Landmark runner-up Susquehanna.

Baumunk was named team MVP for the second straight season. Marqus Hunter earned the Coach's Award.

Baumunk, Hunter and Smith were recognized as four-year lettermen.

2007-2008 Men's Basketball

The Cougars opened the season by winning the Laurel Line Tournament.

MU also hosted an ECAC playoff game and advanced to the ECAC semi-finals.

Vinny Baumunk was named the Laurel Line MVP and a first-team All-PAC selection.

Ryan Roa made the Laurel Line All-Tournament team.

Trevor Woodruff was named PAC Coach of the Year.

Baumunk went over the 1,000 point mark for his career.

Roa (81.1%) and Matt Hornak (80.0%) ended their careers in third and fourth place, respectively, in career free throw percentage.

Baumunk moved to sixth in school history in career points per game average (13.8 ppg).

Baumunk became the school's all-time leader with 86 blocked shots.

Hornak moved to third all-time with 83 blocks.

Baumunk moved into sixth-place all-time in career field percentage (52.7%).

Hornak finished third all-time in three-point percentage (37.3%).

Baumunk was named team MVP, and Roa earned the Coach's Award.

Roa and Hornak were recognized as four-year lettermen.

2006-2007 Men's Basketball

The Cougars were 10-15 overall and 8-10 in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference.

Vinny Baumunk was a second-team All-PAC selection and was named the team MVP.

He had 31 blocks, the third most in school history, and moved into third place with 65 career blocks.

Tony Rezykowski was named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team and received the Coach's Award.

He finished sixth in career assists and tied for eighth in steals.

Ryan Roa set a school record for single-season free throw percentage (86.5).

Matt Hornak ended his career third all-time in 3-point percentage and fourth in free throw percentage. He is also fourth in career blocks.

2005-2006 Men's Basketball

The Cougars finished 6-19, including a 6-12 PAC record. CM had its Pennsylvania Athletic Conference playoff streak snapped at 10 seasons.

The season was highlighted by a pair of wins over PAC playoff team, Neumann.

Corey Brown was third in the PAC in field goal percentage and also moved into the top 10 all-time in field goal percentage (53.4), field goals (281), points per game (14.0), rebounds (354) and rebounds per game (6.8).

Vinny Baumunk tied the school single-season record with 34 blocked shots, while Matt Hornak had the fourth-highest with 26.

Brown ended his two-year career as a second team All-PAC selection, while Hornak was named to the All-PAC Sportsmanship Team.

Brown was the team MVP, and Eddie Ryan earned the Coach's Award.

Ryan was recognized as a four- year letterman.

2004-2005 Men's Basketball

The Cougars finished 11-16 and reaches the PAC playoffs for the 10th straight season. MU clinched a first-round home game and defeated Marywood in their playoff opener.

It was the first season for MU graduate, Trevor Woodruff, as head coach at his alma mater.

Andre Little ended his MU career in third place in steals (146), fourth in assists (257), third in games played (106) and seventh in free throws made (227).

Little was a first-team All-PAC selection.

In his first season, Corey Brown was honorable mention, and Tony Rezykowski was named to the PAC All-Sportsmanship team.

Little was the team MVP and Brown received the Coach's Award.

Little and Mike Morak were recognized as four-year letter winners.

2003-2004 Men's Basketball

The Cougars finished 10-16 and reached the PAC playoffs for the ninth straight season. The season turned out to be Dave Martin's final campaign as head coach. He will become CM's athletic director next year.

CM opened the season by winning the Laurel Line Tournament for the second straight season.

Ed Corliss was a first-team All-PAC selection, while Josh Kendrick received honorable mention and was the PAC Rookie of the Year.

Corliss was also a first-team MPBM all-star selection, and Kendrick was the newcomer of the year.

Corliss was the team MVP, and Shawn Hayes received the Coach's Award.

Hayes, Kyle Watkins and Kevin Driscoll were four-year letter winners. Corliss, Lucas McClintock and Mark Williams were also seniors.

2002-2003 Men's Basketball

The Cougars finished the season 16-12 for their eighth consecutive winning season. MU opened the season by winning the Laurel Line Tournament.

Willie Chandler was the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Player of the Year for the fourth straight year. Chandler was third in the nation in scoring with 26.1 ppg. He was a first-team All-American and was a finalist for the Josten's Trophy. Chandler also ended his career as the second-leading scorer in D-III history with 2,898 points.

Chandler and Jason Perry became the highest-scoring tandem in D-III history with 4,523 points. They appeared in USA Today and on ESPN.

Perry was a second team All-PAC selection. He finished second on CM's all-time scoring list with 1,625 points.

Chandler set a school record with nine steals against Wesley and tied his own school record with nine three-pointers against Villa Julie.

The Cougars qualified for the PAC and ECAC playoffs.

Chandler was the team MVP, and Brian Coyle earned the Coach's Award. Chandler, Perry, Coyle and Scott Napkori were seniors. Chandler and Perry were four-year lettermen.

2001-02 Men's Basketball
The Cougars finished 19-10, continuing their streak of seven straight winning seasons. MU also set the schools record for wins in a season.

Willie Chandler was the Pennsylvania Conference Player of the Year for the third straight season and was a D3hoops.com first-team All-American. Chandler led the PAC in scoring and finished seventh in the NCAA D-III. He became just the third junior in D-III history to go over 2,000 career points. Chandler was an ECAC All-Star and a first-team NEPBM All-Star. He was the NEPBM Player of the Year for the second straight time.

Brian Coyle finished second in the PAC in assists. Chandler was the team MVP, while Jason Perry received the Coach's Award. Chandler became the school's All-Time leading scorer while Perry is fourth.

Coach Dave Martin was named the PAC Coach of the Year. Misericordia defeated PAC champion and NCAA Sweet 16 participant, Cabrini. The Cougars also beat PAC regular season Champ and NCAA qualifier, Alvernia.

 

2000-2001 Men's Basketball

The Cougars finished 14-12 for their sixth Consecutive winning season

Willie Chandler was the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Player of the Year. He led the league in scoring and rebounding. Chandler led the NCAA D-II in scoring at 29.3 ppg for the second straight season and was finalist for the Josten's Trophy, the D-III Player of the Year Award. He was named first-team All-American by D-III News and Regional All-American by the NABC. Chandler was also an ECAC All-Star and a first-team NEPBM All-Star.

Chandler appeared in Sports Illustrated after going over the 1,000 career point mark in just his 38th career game. Chandler set school single-game records for points (51) field goals (18) and three-pointers (9). He also broke his own single-season point's record with (763), points per game (29.3), field goals (271) and three-pointers (96).

Jason Perry joined Chandler as a first-team NEPBM selection. Perry was third in the PAC in scoring (19.2 ppg) and second in rebounding (8.3)

Chandler was the team MVP, while Mark Mazak received the Coach's Award. Neil Burdis, Steve Horensky, Jamie Marko and Mazak were the only seniors on the Team. Burdis and Marko a four-year letterman.

1999-2000 Men's Basketball

The Misericordia University men's basketball team finished the year 16-11, their best season in 10 years. They reached the PAC Championship game for the second straight year. The Cougars enjoyed its fifth consecutive winning season sixth in seven years.

Freshman Willie Chandler was the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. Chandler was a first-team All-PAC selection and was the Northeast Pennsylvania Basketball Media Player and Newcomer of the Year. Heading into the final week of the season, Chandler led the NCAA Division III in scoring at 26.1 points per game. He also set a school record with 44 points against Maine-Farmington.

Junior point guard Neil Burdis was 20th in the nation and with 6.0 assists per game. Burdis was second in the league in assist and set the single season record with 163 assists. He also set the school record with 15 assists against Lincoln and 8 steals against Allentown. Chandler tied the record.

Chandler led the PAC in scoring while freshman Jason Perry was 10th. Perry was 7th in the league in rebounding and Chandler was 8th. Perry was a second-team All-PAC selection. Senior Jason Mailliard earned honorable mention All-PAC. Mailliard and Mark Sakson were the only seniors on the team. Mailliard was a four-year letterman.

 

1998-1999 Men's Basketball

The Misericordia University men's basketball team made its first appearance in the PAC Championship game. They posted a 14-12 record, their fourth consecutive winning season and fifth in six years. The Cougars hosted the Laurel Line Tournament and finished second. Dave Martin also earned his 100th career victory.

Bob Tugend was named first-team All-PAC for the second straight year and was a third-team ECAC all-star. Tugend set school NCAA single-season records with 576 points and 22.2 points per game. He also became the schools all-time NCAA D-III scoring leader with 1,398 points. Tugend was 20th in NCAA D-III in scoring. He led the PAC in scoring with 20.3 points per game and was sixth in assists with 3.3 assist per game.

Trevor Woodruff was second-team All-PAC, while Ben Augustine was honorable mention All-PAC. Augustine set a school single-season record with 250 rebounds. Augustine was 24th in rebounding with 9.6 per game. He was second in the PAC in rebounding at 8.9 rebounds per game.

 

1997-1998 Men's Basketball

The Misericordia University Men's basketball team finished their season 14-11, their third consecutive winning season and fourth in five years. Coach Dave Martin was the PAC Coach-of-the-Year. The Cougars won a first-round PAC playoff game for the second straight year. Cougars also finished third in the Laurel Line Tournament.

Bob Tugend was named first-team All-PAC. Tugend set school single season records with 537 points and 20.7 points per game. Tugend set a school single-game record with nine steals against Neumann. He also finished second in the PAC in scoring and ninth in assists.

Gus Wagner was honorable mention All-PAC. Wagner was seventh in the PAC in rebounding, while Ben Augustine was eighth.

Wagner, Fausto Volpe and Mark Cunningham were the team's only seniors.

1996-1997 Men's Basketball

The Misericordia University Cougars finished 14-11, their second consecutive winning season and third in four years. The Cougars hosted the Laurel line Tournament for the second time and finished second for the second time in three years. They have been to the Laurel Line Finals three years in a row. MU nearly upset NCAA Final Four participant Alvernia, 71-69.

Seniors John McGovern (1260), Joe Harvey (1205), Bart Clementoni (1032) and Damian Fritz (1032) all went over the 1,000 career point mark. Misericordia is the first Division III men's team to have four 1,000 point scorers in the same season.

McGovern became the schools all-time leading scorer. McGovern and Clementoni were both named second-team All-PAC.

Joe Harvey set a school single-game scoring record with 41 points at Allentown. Harvey was named first-team All-PAC for the second straight year becoming the school's first two-time All-Conference player.

1995-1996 Men's Basketball

The 1995-1996 season was a season of firsts for Misericordia University men's basketball.

The Cougars won their first tournament title under coach Dave Martin (they won their second one month later).

While winning the Laurel Line Tournament for the first time in four attempts, the Cougars also knocked off the University of Scranton for the first time in six tries. The Cougars won the Widener Winter Classic and had a victory over NCAA Tournament team Allentown.

During the regular season Misericordia defeated Pennsylvania Athletic Conference nemesis Alvernia College for the first time in 12 meetings. The Cougars hosted their first ever playoff game and got their first playoff win ever under Martin with a 64-59 victory over Beaver in the PAC quarterfinals. MU posted a 16-12 record the best in school history and received a first ever ECAC playoff bid and finished second in the tournament.

Joe Harvey and John McGovern became the school's first PAC first-team all-stars. (Bart Clementoni received honorable mention). Harvey set a school record by making 19 free throws against Beaver.

Harvey and McGovern need approximately 100 points, while Damian Fritz and Clementoni need less than 300 points to go to the 1,000 career point mark.

 

1994-1995 Men's Basketball

The Cougars opened the season by hosting the Laurel Line Tournament for the first time and responded with a runner-up finish after two straight third-place showings.

Rich Martini became the first men's player of the "modern era" of Misericordia basketball to eclipse the 1,000 career point mark.

The team recorded an impressive home win over ECAC runner-up Allentown College after narrowly missing knocking off ECAC champ, Alvernia.

Martini was joined by fellow seniors George Schwartz and Jamie Mladenoff as the only three members of coach Dave Martin's first recruiting class to play all four seasons.

1993-1994 Men's Basketball

The Cougars completed its most successful season under head coach Dave Martin with a 14-10 record. The Cougars also made their second consecutive appearance in the PAC playoffs.

A pair of juniors neared the 1,000 career point plateau. Rich Martini is just 27 points away, while Pete Dincher needs 101. Freshman Joe Harvey was named ECAC Rookie of the Year.

The team established two single-season records. Dincher made 14 free throws during the Laurel Line Tournament against Rhode Island and Harvey had 11 assists against Beaver.

The Cougars were also ranked in the top 12 in the nation during the season in team field goal percentage defense.

1992-1993 Men's Basketball

The Cougars made the playoffs for the first time in four years.

They established or tied six single game records throughout the season. Rich Martini had 14 field goals, Pete Dincher made 11 free throws and had five blocked shots, John McGovern had 20 rebounds, Doug Brister had nine assists and Bob Hough had five steals.

Martini was twice nemed to ECAC Player of the Week Honor Roll. McGovern was ECAC Rookie of the Week three times.

 

1991-1992 Men's Basketball

The Cougars finished their season with an 8-18 record. Some might scoff at an 8-18 record but considering the inexperience of the squad, it is quite respectable.

In fact, the season was filled with many highlights. The Cougars got their first win of the year in their second game, beating last year's mark by two months.

The team also finished in 3rd place in three of four tournaments and the team's three top scorers were freshmen.

All-tournament selections included: Kevin Attilio, Rich Martini and Pete Dincher.

1990-1991 Men's Basketball

The Misericordia University men's basketball team finished their season 2-22 in Dave Martin's first year as head coach.

Both wins came over future PAC rival, Beaver College (Arcadia).

Bruce Szczecinski was a second-team KAC all-star after leading the team with 16.3 ppg and 10 rebounds.
