2024 Women’s Lacrosse
Misericordia finished 5-2 in the MAC Freedom and suffered a one-goal loss in the MAC Freedom semifinals. They finished with a 7-9 overall record.
Michelle Torzilli was named to the All-MAC Freedom first-team while
Rachel Shook and
Jaden Pare both made second-team.
Torzilli set school single-game records with 12 points and 10 goals in the regular season finale against FDU-Florham. She ended her career as MU's all-time leader with 286 points and 235 goals.
Shook had the second-highest draw control total (120) in school history and became MU's all-time leader with 318.
2023 Women’s Lacrosse
Misericordia finished 11-8 overall and reached the MAC Freedom championship game after finishing tied for first place in the regular season at 7-1.
Michelle Torzilli was named the MAC Freedom Midfielder of the Year and was joined on the All-MAC Freedom first team by defender
Makenzie Tumini while
Genevieve Montanye, Rachel Shook and
Keira Andrews all made second-team and
Madelyn Uetz earned honorable mention.
Torzilli was named first-team All-Boardwalk Region by the IWLCA. She tied the school single-game record with nine goals against Montclair and recorded at least one point in 18 of 19 games played.
Andrews, Montanye, Shook and Tumini were all selected for the CSC Academic At-Large All-District Team by the CSC.
Makenzie Tumini has been named the 2023 Misericordia University NCAA Woman of the Year.
The team earned IWLCA academic honors.
2022 Women’s Lacrosse
Misericordia finished 10-7 and were third in the MAC Freedom at 6-2.
Makenzie Tumini made All-MAC Freedom first team while
Genevieve Montanye, Michelle Torzilli and
Maggie McGovern were named to the second team and
Keira Andrews earned honorable mention.
Torzilli led the team with 39 goals and 49 points. Her nine goals against Marywood were the most in the MAC this season and the second-highest single-game total in school history.
Tumini and McGovern were named to the All-ECAC team as an honorable mention.
The team was recognized by the IWLCA as an Academic Honor Squad.
2021 Women’s Lacrosse
Misericordia finished the season at 9-4 and reached the MAC Freedom semifinals.
Justine Johnson, Michelle Torzilli and
Lauren Weitzel were named All-MAC Freedom first-team while
Makenzie Tumini and
Maggie McGovern earned second-team honors.
Weitzel was named to the IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region first-team while Johnson and Torzilli earned second-team honors.
Weitzel was second on the team with 40 goals and tied for second with 52 points. She led the team in draw controls (80), caused turnovers (24) and ground balls (29).
Johnson finished tied for second on the team in scoring with 52 points on 22 goals and a team-high 30 assists, the fifth-highest total in school history.
The team was recognized as an Academic Honor Squad by the IWLCA.
2020 Women’s Lacrosse
The season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kaila Quinlivan was named the 2020 Misericordia University NCAA Woman of the Year.
2019 Women’s Lacrosse
Misericordia finished 15-7 and won their first MAC Freedom title and won their first-round game in the NCAA Championships.
Brianna Ladner was named All-MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Year and was joined on the All-MAC Freedom first team by
Kaila Quinlivan and
Kristen Ritter while
Amy Roth, Nicole Winter and
Maggie McGovern earned second team honors.
McGovern was also named All-MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year while teammate Justine Johnson received honorable mention.
Ladner was named the ECAC Defensive Player of the Year and was joined on the All-ECAC first-team by Quinlivan. Ladner led the team with 88 draw controls and 48 ground balls and was second with 26 caused turnovers.
Quinlivan led the team in goals, assists and points. She set the school single-season records with 37 assists and 104 points while becoming MU’s all-time leader with 97 assists and 256 points. She is second in school history with 159 career goals.
Ladner and Quinlivan were both named to the IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region first-team.
Ritter was named the 2018-2019 Misericordia University Wendy’s Athlete of the Year and the MAC Senior-Scholar Athlete of the Year.
2018 Women’s Lacrosse
The Cougars ended the season at 12-9 and advanced to the MAC Freedom championship game and the ECAC semifinals.
Brianna Ladner, Olivia Garcia, Amy Roth and
Kaila Quinlivan were all named to All-MAC Freedom first team while
Lauren Weitzel earned honorable mention.
Ladner was named to the All-ECAC first team and All-Boardwalk region first-team. She set a new school single-season record with 146 draw controls. She led the team with 69 ground balls and 47 caused turnovers.
Quinlivan was named All-Boardwalk region second-team. She tied the single-season record with 85 points on 54 goals and 31 assists.
Garcia is Misericordia’s all-time leader with 78 assists and ranks third in school history with 194 points.
2017 Women’s Lacrosse
Misericordia finished 14-4 and advanced to the championship game in the MAC Freedom and ECAC Championships.
Katie McLoughlin was named All-MAC Freedom first-team and was the Defensive Player of the Year.
Kaila Quinlivan was named to the first-team and was Rookie of the Year. They were joined on the first-team by
Olivia Garcia, Liz Mulvey and
Brianna Ladner.
Lexee Willey was named All-MAC Freedom second-team while
Emily Connell earned honorable mention.
Garcia led the league with 2.43 assists per game after setting a school single-season record with 34.
Ladner was named to the IWLCA All-Region first team. She led the Cougars with 56 ground balls and 45 caused turnovers and was second on the team with 40 draw controls.
Mcloughlin was named to the IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll and was joined by her team who were named to the Zag Sports Honor Squad.
McLoughlin was named the MAC Freedom/Misericordia NCA Woman of the Year. She is Misericordia’s all-time leader in games played (72), wins (39), saves (609) and goals against average (10.92). She holds the single-season record for goals against average (3.84) and wins (14).
2016 Women’s Lacrosse
Misericordia finished 10-9 and advanced to the MAC Freedom championship game and qualified for the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Regional championships.
Katie McLoughlin and
Brianna Ladner were named All-MAC Freedom first-team.
Erin Baker, Allie Elmes and
Taylor Simeone were named to the second team.
Ladner was named to the IWLCA All-Region second team.
McLoughlin, a junior goalkeeper, was 9-7 with a 7.98 goals against average and a 50.8 save percentage. She led the team with 58 ground balls. She was second in the league in GAA and save percentage.
Ladner, a first-year defender, was second on the team with 30 caused turnovers and 33 draw controls and fourth with 44 ground balls. She was 10th in the league with 1.60 caused turnovers per game.
Baker, a senior attack, led the team in scoring with 44 points on 34 goals and 10 assists.
Ladner was named to the ECAC South All-Star second-team.
McLoughlin was named to the IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll as well as the team being named a IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad.
2015 Women’s Lacrosse
Misericordia finished 9-9 and second in the Freedom Conference and qualified for the ECAC championships.

Brooke North and
Melina Juliano were joined by sophomore goalie
Katie McLoughlin on the All-MAC Freedom first-team.
Allie Elmes, Stephanie Piser and
Taylor Simeone all earned second-team honors.
Head Coach
Chrissy Trescavage was named MAC Freedom Coach of the Year.
North scored a team-high 49 goals. She scored in 17 of 19 games and had 13 multi-goal games, including three games where she scored five goals.
Juliano led Misericordia in scoring with the third-highest single-season points in school history with 71 points on 43 goals and a school-record 28 assists. She led the team with 95 draw controls and was second with 47 ground balls.
Juliano and North were both named to the IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region second-team.
The team was recognized by the IWLCA for their academic success while North was named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
2014 Women's Lacrosse
The Cougars finished 7-9 overall and 4-2 in the Freedom Conference to earn their first Freedom post-season berth.
MU had a five-game winning streak and opened Freedom play with three straight wins, including at defending conference champion FDU-Florham.
Melina Juliano was named first-team All-Freedom and
Katie McLoughlin was the Freedom Rookie of the Year.
McLoughlin,
Emily Hegner and
Liz Mulvey were second-team All-Freedom.
Juliano had top-10 single-season totals in points (9
th), goals (9
th) and assists (7
th) and is fifth in career points (157) and goals (125) and fourth in assists (32).
Juliano and
Kate Pagnotta scored their 100
th career goals.
Pagnotta finished eighth in career points (130), seventh in goals (110) and ninth in assists (20).

Juliano was the team MVP and
Emily Hegner earned the Coach's Award for the second straight season.
2013 Women's Lacrosse
The Cougars finished 0-16 in Chrissy Trescavage's first season as head coach, including back-to-back, heartbreaking one-goal losses to Manhattanville and Wilkes.
Catie Viegas was honorable mention All-Freedom.
Melina Juliano and Kate Pagnotta cracked the top 10 in career points, goals and assists and Brooke North moved into 10
th in career goals.
North was the team MVP and
Emily Hegner earned the Coach's Award.
2012 Women's Lacrosse
The Cougars finished 6-10 in Robyn Fedor Stahovic's final season as head coach.
Freshman
Melina Juliano had the third-highest single-season points total (65) in school history. Her 56 goals were fifth-highest.
Emily Foley (17), Krista Shenk (16) and
Juliano (15) had the third, fourth and fifth-highest single-season assists total in school history.
Foley finished sixth in career points (142), fifth in career goals 9117) and sixth in career assists (25) while Shenk finished seventh in career points (106), sixth in goals (71) and third in assists (35).
Erika Proctor was the team MVP and Jenny Perucca earned the Coach's Award.
Proctor tied the single-season mark with six wins in goal.
2011 Women's Lacrosse
The Cougars finished 3-13 overall, including a 2-2 mark in non-conference play.
Freshman
Kate Pagnotta tied for the 10th-highest single-season goal total in school history (42).
Krista Shenk had the third-highest single-season assists total in school history (13).
Junior
Emily Foley moved into sixth place in all-time scoring (80). Shenk is ninth (64).
Shenk was the team MVP.
Sydnie Battle earned the Coach's Award.
2010 Women's Lacrosse
The Cougars finished 4-11 overall and 3-9 in their second season in the MAC.
MU was 3-4 at Mangelsdorf Field.
Misericordia beat King's and Wilkes to claim the unofficial NEPA Championship.
The team's top two scorers from 2009 were limited to just five games due to injury.
Playing with a torn ACL, Shannon Tinkham scored a goal on Senior Appreciation Day and ended her career with 176 goals and 202 points- both school records. She was third with 26 career assists.
Sophomore Emily Foley earned honorable mention All-MAC status.
Foley led the team in scoring with 42 points (39g, 3a). Her 42 points were the 10th-most in school history and her 39 goals tied for eighth.
Natasha Jankowsky had nine assists- tied for fifth-most in school history. She moved into sixth all-time with 17 career assists.
Jankowsky was second on the team with 35 points (26g, 9a).
Camilla Hansen was the team MVP.
Foley received the Coach's Award.
Tinkham was honored as a four-year letter winner. Brittany Schorr was also a senior.
2009 Women's Lacrosse
The Cougars finished 4-13 overall and 3-8 in their first season in the MAC.
Nicole DeAngelis led the team in scoring with 85 points (80g, 5a). She set a school single-season record for goals and tied her own school record for points.
Shannon Tinkham became MU's all-time leader in goals (167) and points (192).
Jessy Schwenk ended her career as MU's all-time leader in assists (40).
Jamie Wargo was the team MVP. She is second in career assists (36), fourth in goals (129) and fourth in points (165). She was MU's NCAA Woman of the Year.
Kate Wallace received the Coach's Award.
Wargo, Wallace and Schwenk were honored as seniors.
2008 Women's Lacrosse
The Cougars finished 7-9 overall and made their second consecutive appearance at the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference playoffs.
Nicole DeAngelis was the second consecutive Misericordia player to be named PAC Rookie of the Year.
DeAngelis, Shannon Tinkham and Jamie Wargo were second-team All-PAC selections.
DeAngelis led the team in scoring with a school record of 85 points.
Jess Schwenk set a school assists record for a season (22) and career (32).
Wargo was named team MVP, and Kelly Miller received the Coach's Award.
2007 Women's Lacrosse
The Cougars finished 7-8 overall and made their second appearance in the PAC playoffs.
Amanda Felte and Shannon Tinkham were both first-team All-PAC selections. Tinkham was also the PAC Rookie of Year.
Tinkham led the team in scoring with the second-highest single-season point total in school history (63).
Jamie Wargo was second-team All-PAC, and Brittany Schorr earned honorable mention.
Felte ended her career as CM's all-time leader in points (174), goals (150) and assists (24).
Felte was the team MVP for the fourth time, and Bridgette Stone received the Coach's Award.
Jess Schwenk set a school record with 10 assists.
2006 Women's Lacrosse
In their fifth season, the MU women's lacrosse team finished 4-12 overall and 3-7 in the PAC.
Amanda Felte was a second-team All-PAC selection for the second straight season.
Felte was second on the team in scoring with 39 points (35g, 4a) and was named team MVP for the third straight season.
Jamie Wargo led the team in scoring (34g, 7a).
Kelly Miller was third on the team in scoring (15g, 3a) and received the Coach's Award.
Stacey Kandra was the lone senior on the team and was honored as a four-year letter winner.
Felte is CM's all-timer leader in points (117), goals (102) and assists (15).
2005 Women's Lacrosse
In their fourth season, the MU women's lacrosse team finished 3-10.
Amanda Felte led the team in scoring with 37 points (28g, 9a), while Mo Reed had 34 points (32g, 2a).
Felte was a second team All-PAC selection.
Felte was the team MVP for her second consecutive year, while Reed earned the Coach's Award.
Elena Benedetti and Julie Stackhouse were recognized as four-year letter winners. Reed and Lindsay Skyta were also seniors.
2004 Women's Lacrosse
In their third season, the Misericordia women's lacrosse team finished 2-10.
Freshman Amanda Felte led the team in scoring with 41 points (39g, 2a).
Stacy Kandra was a second team All-PAC selection as well as second team all-ECAC.
Felte was the team MVP, while Kandra received the Coach's Award.
2003 Women's Lacrosse
In their second season, the CM women's lacrosse team enjoyed a winning season (7-6).
Under first-year head coach Robyn Fedor, the Cougars made their first appearance in the PAC playoffs.
Britney Haring set school records with eight goals in a game and 68 goals on the season.
Haring became the first player in school history to earn first-team All-PAC honors and was also the PAC Rookie of the Year.
Liz Kovalchik was named second-team All-PAC, and Julia Fritz and Christa Marra earned All-PAC honorable mention.
Haring was the team MVP, and Kaitlin Murphy received the Coach's Award.
2002 Women's Lacrosse
In their first varsity season, the Misericordia women's lacrosse team finished 3-9.
The Cougars beat Alvernia, 11-10, for the first varsity win in the program's history.
Erica Noel and Kim Daniel set a school record with six goals in a game. Noel led the team in scoring with 35 points.
Julia Fritz was second with 24 points, and Andrea Cox added 22.
Cox was an honorable mention All-PAC selection to become the first All-PAC player in program history.
Noel was the team MVP, and Christa Marra received the Coach's Award.
