2016 Football 
The Cougars finished their fifth varsity season 1-9 overall. 

Pat Newins was named first-team All-MAC. Sam Johnson and Alec Rhoads earned honorable mention. 

Newins finished fourth in the nation with 44.5 yards per kick while leading the MAC by nearly six yards per kick. He had 19 kicks of 50-plus yards, including a 63-yarder, and had 12 kicks downed inside the 20 yard line. 

Newins was also named to the d3football.com All-East Region second-team. 

Colton Pyne was the MVP while Johnson received the Coach’s Award. 

Brandon Leap was named MAC All-Academic.

2015 Football 
Jeff Puckett was named first team All-MAC while Brian Hart, Tom Stelzer, Leonard Watson and Pat Newins all earned honorable mention. 

Puckett tied for first in the MAC with 22 total touchdowns, including 12 passing and 10 rushing. He threw for 1,445 (139-273) and was third in the MAC in total offense with 241.9 yards per game. 

Puckett set school single-game records with four touchdown passes and 242 yards passing and added 148 yards on the ground against FDU-Florham. 

Stelzer tied for team lead with four touchdown receptions and teamed with Watson on an offensive line that paved the way for the fourth leading rushing attack in the MAC with 163.3 yards per game. 

Juwan Petties-Jackson set single-game records with 165 yards and three touchdowns against FDU-Florham. 

Puckett was the team MVP for the fourth straight year. 

Tyler Rowe received the Coach’s Award.

2014 Football 
The Cougars finished the season with their first home win over FDU-Florham. 

Patrick Newins was named All-MAC first-team as a punter while John Ameen was named second-team on the offensive line. 

Newins averaged 40.7 yards per punt with a long of 67 yards. He had more than 14 kicks of more than 50 yards and had 15 kicks downed inside the 20-yard line. 

Amen led the offensive line for the number two rushing attack in the MAC at 204.6 yards per game. 

Jeff Puckett was named to the MAC All-Academic Football team. As a junior quarterback, he carried a 3.65 GPA and rushed for more than 1,000 yards for the second consecutive season. 

Puckett was named the team MVP for the third consecutive season. 

Ameen received the Coach’s Award.

2013 Football
In their second season, the Cougars defeated FDU-Florham in the season finale, 63-40, for their first win.
 
Offensive Lineman John Ameen was second-team All-MAC and quarterback Jeff Puckett was honorable mention All-MAC.
 
Puckett was a two-time MAC Offensive Player of the Week and Puckett set a MAC single-game record with six rushing TD’s against FDU-Florham and tied the points mark with 36.
 
Misericordia set a MAC single-game record with 587 yards rushing in the season opener against Gettysburg.
 
The Cougars led the MAC and finished 11th in the nation with 277.1 rushing yards per game.
 
Puckett led the MAC in scoring and was second in rushing.  He was the top rushing QB and 25th in the nation with 1,300 yards rushing.  He finished 14th in the country in scoring with 114 points.
 
Puckett was the team MVP for the second consecutive season.
 
Kevin Bagasevich received the Coach’s Award.

2012 Football
The Cougars completed their first season of varsity football and finished the season with 66 players on the roster.
 
Steve Clemson, Lane Dickey and Tom Messner were the only seniors on the roster.
 
John Ameen (offensive line) and Juwan Petties-Jackson (special teams) both earned All-MAC honorable mention.
 
Jeff Puckett was the team MVP and Hunter Pates received the Coach’s Award.
 
Dean Lucchesi scored the first touchdown in school history on a pass from Puckett in the second game of the season at Lebanon Valley.
 
Petties-Jackson ran back the opening kickoff at Wilkes to give MU its only lead of the season.
