David Gargone is in his eighth year as a member of the Misericordia baseball staff and 13th as a coach at the college level.
He also spent one summer as an assistant coach of the Danville Dans of the former Central Illinois Collegiate League, coaching many future professional players. In 2014 and 2015, he was the head coach of the Marauders in the Beach League in Myrtle Beach, SC.
A business management graduate of the University of Scranton, Gargone played three seasons for the Royals.
He earned an M.A. in teaching from Rockford College and an Ed.D. in sport management with a specialization in sport marketing from the United States Sports Academy.
