Misericordia University Athletics

Cael Evans is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Misericordia University men’s basketball team.

Evans spent his collegiate career with the Cougars and was a pivotal player his freshman year while helping the team to a MAC Freedom championship and the first NCAA Tournament berth in school history.

A two-time team captain, he helped the team to the playoffs every season. Evans ranks second in career field goal percentage and fourth in single season field goal percentage at Misericordia.

A native of the Wyoming Valley, Evans earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in sport management and has completed his doctorate in physical therapy.
