Misericordia University Athletics

Griffin Sponaugle is in his first season as the graduate assistant men’s basketball coach at Misericoria University after a highly successful playing career for the Cougars.

He is a 2017 graduate with a bachelor’s degree in sports management.

Sponaugle was a four-year starter for Misericordia, scoring 1,031 points, good enough 17th all-time in the program’s history.

He is also third in three-pointers made, fourth in three-point percentage, and eighth in career assists.

After his junior season, Sponaugle was named to the All-MAC Freedom first team.
