John Hoeffler is entering his first season with the Misericordia University men's lacrosse program as a graduate assistant coach.
Hoeffler spent the past year as head coach of the Chiefs High School Lacrosse program in Orland Park, IL. During his time there, he lead the program to the best record in its history (18-3) and reached the state semifinals. Nine of his players were selected all-conference and one was selected all-state.
As a player, Hoeffler was a four-year starting midfielder at MAC-rival Widener, winning conference titles in 2008, 2010 and 2011. He earned first-team all-conference honors as a senior and finished his career with 100 points.
A Cranford, NJ native, Hoeffler helped start the first lacrosse team in the history of his high school, leading the state in scoring as a junior and earning first-team all-state honors as a senior.
