Misericordia University Athletics

Ryan Lanigan is in his second season as a men’s lacrosse graduate assistant coach at Misericordia University.

On the field, Lanigan was a standout at Lebanon Valley College as a long stick midfielder. He served as captain during his junior and senior seasons. Lanigan was a USILA All-American Honorable Mention as a long stick midfielder in 2014.

He was an all-conference first team selection in 2013 and 2014. He left LVC as the program leader in ground balls and caused turnovers. Lanigan ranked in the top-five nationally in caused turnovers in his final two seasons.

Prior to joining the coaching staff at Misericordia, Lanigan was an assistant coach and defensive coordinator at Assumption College. During his only season, the team set a program record with nine wins and qualified for the NorthEast-10 Conference Playoffs for the second time in program history.
