Misericordia University Athletics

Chris Edelschein is in his second season as graduate assistant coach with the Misericordia University men’s soccer team.

A native of Medford Lakes, NJ, Edelschein played his first two years at Montclair State before transferring to Rutgers University-Camden. 

He was part of two NJAC Champion teams at Montclair State, and the team reached the Elite 8 and Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament during his years there.

Edelschein was named team MVP and earned 2nd-Team All-NJAC honors during his senior year at Rutgers-Camden, as part of a squad that finished the season ranked #5 in the nation and advanced to the Elite 8 of the 2011 NCAA Tournament.

Edelschein holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Rutgers-Camden and is pursuing a master’s in organizational management while at Misericordia.
