Kevin Matlon is in his first season as a volunteer coach for men’s soccer team at his alma mater, Misericordia University.
Matlon was a three year starter for the Cougars, starting every game from the beginning of his sophomore year to the end of his career.
He scored seven goals and had three assists during his career.
A 2016 graduate, he earned a bachelor’s degree in professional studies and is currently enrolled in the doctorate physical therapy program at Misericordia.
He was named first-team All-MAC Freedom selection his sophomore and junior seasons.
He helped the Cougars to a MAC Freedom title, an ECAC south championship and two trips to the NCAA Tournament.
