Allison Kern is in her fourth season as the head women’s basketball coach at Misericordia University where she also serves as coordinator of athletics facilities.
Previously, she spent four seasons as a full-time assistant coach at William Smith College in Geneva, NY.
Prior to William Smith, Kern spent a year as an assistant coach at Hiram (OH) College.
Kern earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from John Carroll University where she was a four-year letter-winner and was the team’s offensive MVP as a senior.
A native of Dayton, OH, Kern led the Chaminade-Julienne High School team to a number one national ranking during her junior season and an Ohio state title as a senior.
