Misericordia University Athletics

Brenna Gallagher has been named the head coach for women’s lacrosse at Misericordia University.

A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she was a four-year starter as a defender.

As a senior, she was named All-South Region and second-team All-American. The Crimson Hawks finished 13-6 and reached the PSAC semifinals for the third time in four years.

She was a two-time team captain and a two-time first-team All-PSAC selection.

She led the team with 53 ground balls and added 21 goals in 2016.  She holds the school record for career ground balls and ranks second in caused turnovers.

Gallagher earned bachelor’s degrees in child development and family relations and sociology and human services from IUP.   She is pursuing her master’s degree in organizational management.
