Misericordia University Athletics

MaryKate Stauffer has been named interim women's lacrosse coach at Misericordia University, Chuck Edkins, director of athletics, has announced.

"I am excited to welcome MaryKate Stauffer back to the Misericordia athletics department," said Edkins.  "As our initial head women's lacrosse coach, she established a solid foundation that was the springboard for our current success.  Her strengths as a teacher, mentor and role model to our women will positively impact the program as we continue our quest for a MAC Freedom championship."

Stauffer served as Misericordia's field hockey coach for two seasons and coached the women's lacrosse team during its inaugural season in 2002.
