Misericordia University Athletics

Nicole Hinkle is in her fifth season as the head women's lacrosse coach at Misericordia University. 

She has guided the Cougars to the postseason in each of her first four years, including a berth in the MAC Freedom championship game in 2023. 

Previously, she spent three seasons as the defensive coordinator and goalkeepers coach at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. 

She is a graduate of Wingate (NC) University where she earned her degree in sport management.  She also served as a graduate assistant in sports information at Shippensburg. 

In addition, she spent three seasons as goalie coach for the NEMS Lacrosse Club in Bel Air, MD. 

As a student-athlete, she was a four-year letter winner at Wingate.  She spent three seasons as a goalie before earning South Atlantic League honorable mention as a defender as a senior.
