The Misericordia University field hockey team rallied for a 4-3 double-overtime win at DeSales, Tuesday.
Jamie Wargo scored her first goal of the season with less than a minute remaining in regulation and
Jen Lozier tallied the game-winner six minutes into the second OT.
After a scoreless first half,
Kelsey DeBruyne scored her first career goal to give MU a 1-0 lead eight minutes into the second half with an assist from
Haley Ellis.
DeSales scored twice over the next 10 minutes to take a 2-1 lead before
Ashlee Leonard off an assist from Sam Kilgour at 61:29.
The Bulldogs went up 3-2 with less four minutes remaining, but Wargo knotted things up with an assist from
Heather DiMenno.
Camilla Hansen assisted on Lozier's game-winner.
Misericordia, 10-4 (3-1 Freedom), will host Delaware Valley for Senior Appreciation Day, Saturday.
