Owen Norman has been named the Misericordia University Wendy's Male Athlete of the Month for October while Madison Lasinski and Kaleigh Horos shared the women's honor.
 
Norman had 19 tackles, including nine sacks, in four games.  He had 6.5 sacks in a win over FDU-Florham. He set new school single-game and single-season records for sacks.
 
Lasinski led the field hockey team to a 5-3 record during the month and helped clinch a postseason berth.
 
She had six goals and five assists in eight games.  She had at least one point in six games, including a pair of multi-goal games.
 
Horos led the women's soccer team to a 7-1 record during the month.  She had eight goals and two assists while recording at least one point in six of eight matches. 
 
She recorded hat tricks against Delaware Valley and FDU-Florham.
