The Misericordia University field hockey team dropped its regular season finale, 3-1, at Eastern, Saturday.

Ashlee Leonard scored the lone goal for the Cougars in the second half with an assist from Kelly Pelcher.

MU is 13-6 overall and 5-3 in the Freedom Conference and have clinched a playoff berth.

They will be seeded third or fourth depending on the outcome of Sunday's King's/Wilkes game.

If Wilkes wins, the Cougars will be seeded third and will return to Eastern, Wednesday.

If King's wins, MU will be seeded fourth and will host FDU-Florham, Monday at 4:00.
