The Misericordia University women's basketball team lost at Lycoming, 60-56, in non-league action Tuesday evening.
Lacey DeGraw led the Cougars with 19 points and seven rebounds and
Christine Marks added 13 points and seven rebounds.
MU led 43-35 midway through the second half before Lycoming went on a 16-2 run over six minutes to take a 51-45 lead with six minutes to play.
Tied 30-30 at halftime, the Cougars opened the second period on a 6-0 run.
DeGraw converted a three-point play on the first possession of the period and
Lindsey Sykes made a layup with an assist from her sister,
Courtney.
After Lycoming cut it to 36-33, DeGraw made a layup and
Lindsey Sykes gave the Cougars their biggest lead of the night, 41-33, with 14 minutes remaining.
