The Misericordia University softball team extended its winning streak to seven games win a non-league sweep at Arcadia, Sunday.
Kat Lucenti went the distance in the opener to pick up the win, 6-4 in eight innings, and
Katie Eiden struck out 11 as the Cougars won the nightcap, 7-5.
Eiden had three hits in the opener and
Hollie Sarnak had two hits and two RBI.
Lindsay Miller and
Nicole Wenner both added a pair of hits.
Eiden,
Kristen Norris and
Nicole Hoskins all blasted homeruns in the nightcap as the Cougars improved to 11-5.
Norris had three hits and Sarnak and
Nikki Jayne both added two hits.
Misericordia returns to PAC action when they host Centenary, Friday.
