Kat Lucenti and Katie Eiden both tossed shutouts to lead the Misericordia University softball team to a sweep at Cedar Crest, 5-0, 10-0, Friday.

Lucenti scattered seven hits in the opener and the Cougars got all the offense they would need with a three-run first inning, including a two-run homer from Hollie Sarnak.

Sarnak and Nicole Wenner added solo homers and Nicole Hoskins had two hits.

Eiden tossed a four-hitter in the nighcap and had two of MU's five doubles.

Lindsay Miller had three hits and two RBI and Gina Urbon added three hits.

Courtney Novajosky and Hoskins both had two hits.

Misericordia, 17-7, will visit Neumann, Saturday.
