The Misericordia University baseball team dropped an 11-3 non-league decision to the University of Scranton, Tuesday.

Jamie Philippi led Misericordia with two hits and two runs scored.

Chris Messa had a triple and Mike Murphy and Brandon Calafut both doubled for the Cougars.

After falling behind 6-1 through two innings, Kevin Della Rosa held the Royals to four runs over the next five innings.

Misericordia will host King's, Wednesday at 4:00.
