The Misericordia University softball team rallied for a 6-5 win in the opening game on the way to a non-league split at King's, Tuesday.
The Cougars dropped the nightcap, 5-0.
In the opener, the Cougars used a three-run rally with two outs in the top of fourth to overcame a 5-3 deficit.
After back-to-back homers by
Hollie Sarnak and
Nicole Hoskins, Kristen Norris and came around to score on
Brittany Bradburn's double to right-center field.
Winning pitcher
Kat Lucenti scattered seven hits and allowed no earned runs as the Cougars committed five errors behind her.
In the nightcap,
Katie Eiden gave up just six hits, but the Cougars only managed three singles by Novajosky, Bradburn and Norris.
MU, 24-10, will host a key PAC doubleheader with Cabrini, Friday.
