The Misericordia University and King's College baseball teams battled to a 7-7 tie in a game shortened to seven innings by rain, Wednesday at Misericordia.
After King's took an 8-7 lead in the top of the eighth, Misericordia tied the score in the bottom of the inning and had the bases loaded with one out when the game was halted.
Mike Murphy led Misericordia with three hits while
Jamie Philippi and
Nate Newman added two hits each.
Bryan Crum and
Cody Hack both drove in two runs.
Steve Peet on the mound for MU and allowed just one earned run over seven innings.
MU, 12-20-1, will open a three-game series at Gwynedd-Mercy, Friday.
