Katie Eiden fired a one-hitter in Misericordia University's 13-0 win over Gwynedd-Mercy as the Cougars salvaged a split in college softball action, Sunday afternoon at Anderson Field.
Gwynedd-Mercy scored three runs in the first inning on the way to a 3-2 win in the opener.
The nightcap belonged to the Cougars thanks to Eiden and two hits and five RBI from
Ashley Ballard.
Gina Urbon had two hits and
Hollie Sarnak belted a two-run homer and scored three runs.
Lindsay Miller, Nicole Hoskins and
Kristen Norris all had two hits in the opener for MU.
The Cougars are 12-6 and will visit Keystone, Monday.
