The Misericordia University softball team swept a non-conference doubleheader at Keystone, 7-3, 19-1, Monday.
Ashley Ballard and
Nicole Wenner both had three hits and scored two runs in the opener while
Gina Urbon, Hollie Sarnak and
Kristen Norris all had two hits.
Norris, Sarnak and
Nicole Hoskins all drove in two runs while Urbon scattered seven hits to pick up the win on the mound.
In the nightcap, Sarnak and
Gina Jorgensen both had three hits and five RBI while Sarnak, Wenner and Norris all homered.
Urbon and
Brittany Bradburn both had two hits and Hoskins scored four runs.
Molly Martin allowed just hits to earn the win.
Misericordia, 14-6, will host Wilkes, Wednesday at 3:00.
