The Misericordia University men's soccer team scored four goals in the final 25 minutes enroute to a 4-2 win over Ursinus, Saturday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.
After giving up a goal five minutes into the match, the Cougars finally got on the board on back-to-back re-start goals in a two-minute span midway through the second period.
Freshman
Bryan Kulbacki netted his first career goal when he flicked home a perfectly played serve from
Cody Hack in the 65th minute.
Tim Bullis put the Cougars ahead when he headed a Hack throw-in at 67:00.
Ursinus tied the score just three minutes later before
Tyler Mensch took a through-ball down the right side and deflected a shot off the Bears' keeper for a 3-2 lead.
Max Campbell added an insurance goal on a breakaway off a perfect feed from
Alec Parker.
Andrew Loyd made four saves as the Cougars improved to 2-0.
MU had a 14-7 advantage in shots and a 9-4 edge in corners.
Misericordia will visit Keystone, Wednesday.
