Manhattanville scored a pair of second half goals for a 2-1 win to spoil the Misericordia University Freedom Conference debut, Saturday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.
Jen Lozier gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead midway through the first period with an assist from
Shannon Elqorchi.
The Valiants scored a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half and held off MU over the final 25 minutes.
Misericordia had 32-17 advantage in shots and a 10-8 edge in corners.
Ellen Howanitz made 10 saves in goal for the Cougars.
Misericordia, 7-3, will visit King's, Thursday evening.
