The Misericordia University field hockey team fell in overtime, 2-1, at Drew, Friday evening.

Heather DiMenno gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead at the 27:00 minute mark.

Drew tied the game with just over 10 minutes remaining and tallied the game-winner off a corner six minutes into overtime.

Ellen Howanitz was stellar in goal with 12 saves for the Cougars.

Jamie Wargo broke up seven Drew corners and Jen Lozier and Heather DiMenno both made defensive saves.

MU, 2-2, will host Philadelphia Univ., Thursday at Mangelsdorf Field.
