The Misericordia University field hockey team dropped a non-league contest, 3-1, at Catholic, Monday.

Emily Foley scored the lone goal for the Cougars while Camilla Hansen had the assist.

Grace Riker made nine saves in goal.

Catholic broke a scoreless tie with a pair of goals in the first eight minutes of the second half.

Foley cut the lead in half with her goal at 45:52, but the Cardinals added an insurance goal 10 minutes later.

MU, 6-9, will visit Marywood for a non-league game, Monday.
