The Misericordia University field hockey team suffered another heartbreaking defeat, 1-0, at Delaware Valley, Wednesday.

The Aggies scored the game's lone goal just 2:55 into the contest.

MU's best chance to tie the score came on Samantha Sorokas' shot with two minutes remaining, but the Del Val goalie made the save and the defense cleared the rebound.

Grace Riker made 10 saves in goal for MU.

Misericordia will host Eastern in their home finale, Saturday at 11:00 at Mangelsdorf Field.
