The Misericordia University field hockey team dropped its home finale, 5-0, to Eastern, Saturday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.

Playing in a steady downpour for much of the game, the Eagles grabbed 3-0 lead in the first 12 minutes of the game.

The Eagles added a fourth goal early in the second half and closed out the scoring with 19 minutes to play.

MU will visit Wilkes, Tuesday.
